How to turn photos into a PDF
Updated October 13, 2026 · 2 min read
Sending ten separate photos is not practical: the recipient has to open them one by one, out of order. A single PDF with one photo per page is easier to read, print and file.
Convert photos to PDF, step by step
- 1Open Docyvo’s JPG to PDF tool.
- 2Add your photos: JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone photos (HEIC), up to 100 images.
- 3Put them in order by dragging them.
- 4Choose the page size (A4, US Letter or image size) and the margins.
- 5Click “Convert to PDF” and download the document.
Photo of a document or a holiday photo?
If your photos show documents (invoices, notebook pages, forms), use Scan to PDF instead: it detects the sheet’s edges, straightens the perspective and cleans the background for a real scanner result. For regular photos, JPG to PDF keeps the image intact.
Is quality preserved?
Yes: JPEGs and PNGs are embedded without recompression, pixel for pixel. Each photo is placed in portrait or landscape automatically. If the PDF is too heavy for an email, run it through Compress PDF.
On iPhone and Android
On iPhone, you can also create a PDF from the Photos app (Share > Print, then spread two fingers on the preview), but few people know this trick and it does not let you choose margins. With Docyvo, just open the tool in your browser and pick your photos from the gallery.
Frequently asked questions
Can I put several photos on one page?
The tool places one photo per page for the best reading and printing. For a collage, combine the photos into one image first.
Are iPhone HEIC photos supported?
Yes, in browsers that read HEIC, such as Safari; elsewhere the iPhone usually sends a JPG when you pick the photo.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The PDF is created by your browser; your photos never leave your device.
